Powerblanket’s Wax Blanket, specifically designed for standard-sized 5-gallon metal pails, melts wax or glycerin safely and efficiently into a usable liquid form. Its targeted heating elements provide even heat distribution from top to bottom, making it a reliable and user-friendly solution. Simply wrap the blanket around your bucket, plug it in, and check back periodically to monitor progress.
Reliable Performance and Safe Operation
The Wax Blanket runs on 120 volts AC, drawing 1.46 amps to deliver 175 watts of power. Its preset thermostat maintains a consistent blanket temperature of 200°F (93.3°C) and keeps the product temperature at 185°F (85°C) with a tolerance of ±10°F (5°C). Avoid using the Wax Blanket on plastic or poly buckets, as the high temperatures can melt these materials.
