Screen Abrasives

Screen abrasives are designed to be fast-cutting abrasive and because of their design, resistant to clogging. Due to the entire abrasive having small holes, screen abrasives are excellent for vacuum compatibility. The lower and medium grits are great for fast removal of existing finishes and the middle and higher ones for sanding raw wood, veneers, or between coats of primers or sealers.

Here are some of the best times to use a sanding screen instead of sandpaper: 

• Large projects: when you’ve got a lot of work to get done, the sanding screen is there to help. The durability and dust clearing capabilities of the sanding screen make it a great choice for large projects. 
• Rough projects: if you’re sanding down some rough drywall, or preparing an old floor for new tile, then the sanding screen can help.
