Description: The Color Select System™ from Ransburg provides an easy and accurate means of changing coating material in any application. Flexible enough to handle as many as fifteen different coating materials, this system is suited for the most demanding applications. The pneumatically-operated fluid valve assembly is controlled with one or two color select boxes which feature easy to use color select switches. Boasting a Class 1, Div.1 approval rating, the Color Select System can be safely mounted anywhere in the facility, even in a hazardous environment.

An outstanding aspect of the Ransburg Color Select is its capacity to save time and reduce operating costs. Its multi-color handling capability, the automated ease with which changes are accomplished, and the elimination of multiple paint cans means less downtime for color changes and reduced labor costs.

All wetted parts in the valve and manifold are 300 series stainless steel or PTFE, as needed, for compatibility with today’s coatings including high solids, waterborne and catalyzed materials, while dual porting allows circulation through the valve. A stainless steel plug is also provided for single inlet applications. With less wasted paint in color changes, payback analysis shows a quick return on investment and V.O.C. EPA compliance.

Color Select System CCV-610X-111 Scope of delivery:

• Color Select System - Includes the main box, top block, solvent valve and 1/4" O.D. poly tubing. The solvent valve is always supplied with a solvent-proof check valve and a 3/8" ODT stainless steel female elbow for fluid inlet.
• Number of Color Valves (Select 1, 2, or 5 in dropdown option) - Indicates the number of valves required for paint to the stack assembly. If more than 5 color valves are needed, an add-on color select system box will be required (can be purchased in parts and accessories below).
• Air Push Valves - Supplied with 1 air push valve and solvent-proof check valve. Includes gauge, regulator, and 3/8" ODT brass push style fitting for air inlet. The air push is used to push out residual paint in the fluid supply line. This air is also pulsed on and off with the solvent to create a scrubbing action.
• Check Valves - Supplied on all paint inlet valves. Check valves are used to prevent materials from contaminating each other in the event that two valves would be opened at the same time.
• Fluid Inlet Fittings - Stainless steel elbow fittings are supplied for the fluid inlets to the color valves. Accepts 3/8" O.D. fluid lines.
• All valves are supplied with a brass push style swivel elbow for the air pilot. Accepts 1/4" O.D. tube.

Features:

• Easier Installation and Maintenance: the fluid valve is simple to assemble, it attaches to the manifold or an adapter fitting with a unique hex fitting which allows just the fitting to rotate. The valve body and hose connections remain stationary, facilitating installation and maintenance.
• Major V.O.C. Reduction: because less paint is wasted between color changes, the overall V.O.C. reduction puts the user in a positive position for EPA compliance.
• Adapts to Changing Needs: the system that meets today’s and tomorrow’s needs. The modular design anticipates the changing needs of fluid supply systems. Modular block valving assemblies can easily be expanded. These same valves are used for rotary atomizer triggering and fluid dump functions, simplifying maintenance and streamlining part stocking. A wide variety of manifold blocks, adapters and fittings allows versatility for a variety of applications.
• User-Specific Configurations: the manifold block is the building element into which all valves are assembled. Manifold blocks can be stacked as a pre-assembled unit to hold the requisite number of valves for multicolor installations.
